About Nathan Stirk

I’m Nathan Stirk, a professional photographer based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. I’ve spent nearly a decade working across commercial, sports, events, conference and agriculture photography, building a body of work that spans Premier League stadiums, national PR campaigns, award-winning cricket photography and farming projects across rural Britain.

I hold a First Class Honours degree in Photojournalism from Staffordshire University. That academic foundation, combined with years of working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, shapes how I approach every brief: with clarity, purpose and a genuine commitment to getting the shot that matters.

What to Expect When Working With Me

Good photography starts before the camera comes out. I take time to understand what a client needs, the purpose behind the brief, how the images will be used and what the end result needs to do. That preparation is what separates images that work from images that just exist.

I don’t overcomplicate things. My photojournalism background means I look for the real moment rather than manufacturing one. The decisive shot, the authentic reaction, the frame that tells the story without needing a caption. That discipline applies to a Premier League match, a product launch or a day on a farm.

I’m also straightforward to work with. I plan properly, communicate clearly and deliver on time. Clients come back because the process is as reliable as the work.
